Your bedroom is the most private space in your home so we take your brief to create a tranquil sanctuary that blends personal style with luxurious comfort. We elevate your bedroom using several key design devices.
As a space designed for rest, a sense of tranquillity is important. This bedroom featured by Belle Magazine: “A prevailing sense of calm is enhanced by the textures throughout, including the crafted smoky oak floors, sheer curtaining and tactile, hand-finished walls. Evocative cloud-motif wallpaper behind a custom leather-and-velvet bedhead provides an individual touch to the main bedroom and draws the outside in”.
Bedrooms are the perfect opportunity to create a mix of pattern and texture through use of throws, cushion trims and bedhead design. Brendan shared in an interview with Design Anthology: “plush textures are key to creating a space that feels both luxurious and inviting”. Whether working with rich velvets, silks, or understated linens we ensure each element contributes to a cohesive bedroom environment.
When separating beds from robes or other zones a wall is not always necessary to make a delineation. Handcrafted glass screens, stretched silk panels or woven timber are amongst the materials we explore to create a uniquely designed separation.
The enrichment of bolder colour for some clients is how they find rest. We consider fully upholstered walls with blended colour behind beds to create maximum colour impact. Curtains and window treatments are also a great opportunity to bring a flash of colour to corners of a room.
Where space permits, areas to relax in the privacy of your bedroom can bring further purpose. This could be in the form of a generous armchair or other furniture. Belle Magazine elaborates: “A chaise, also custom designed by Brendan, provides the perfect spot for the owners to sit and enjoy the wonderful light that floods the room.”
